130 New Cases Opened Within One Year, 250 Children Affected

Luxembourg's Children's Rights Committee (ORK) gave their yearly report to the President of the Chamber of Deputies and the Minister of State this Tuesday morning.


The committee handed over their report the day before the Universal Children's Day on 20 November.

One of the key findings of the report is that 130 new cases regarding children's rights were opened last year. 250 children are affected. 30 cases revolve around parental separation or divorce. An additional dozen were opened in connection with children of asylum seekers. Nine cases revolve...
