Lëtz Art Business Meet-up: Lessons in Perseverance and Vision with Jacky Agnès Ngo Bilong

The latest edition of the Lëtz Art Business Meet-up featured an inspiring session with entrepreneur Jacky Agnès Ngo Bilong, who shared her journey of integration in Luxembourg and the perseverance that led to the creation of her fashion brand and boutique, Mademoiselle Jacky. Specialising in colourful corporate and casual wear for women, her business reflects her passion for blending creativity with practicality and reflects her African origins.

Speaking to an audience of over 30 participants representing more than 15 nationalities, Jacky provided valuable insights on building client profiles, emphasising the importance of tailoring strategies to suit specific locations, such as Luxembourg City versus Esch-sur-Alzette. She openly discussed the challenges of managing a business with limited resources, the value of collaboration, and lessons learned from navigating difficult partnerships.

The event was held at Chiche!—the trailblazing restaurant"project that offers jobs to over 70 employees of immigration background, fostering equality and intercultural understanding.” The delicious lunch prepared by the team added to the convivial atmosphere and highlighted the power of community-driven initiatives. Photographs and the summary video for the event were made by Tetiana Popyk of Tanita Photography.

This meet-up underscored the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and strategic planning in entrepreneurship. Participants left inspired, equipped with practical advice, and ready to take the next steps in their business journeys.

The Lëtz Art Business Meet-up is a part of TRICOT , a socio-economic integration project financially supported by the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy and Touchpoints. It is implemented in collaboration with the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, House of Entrepreneurship, Kirchberg. Stay tuned for more engaging discussions at future Lëtz Art Business Meet-ups!
